Project Engineer

Would you like to play one of the main roles in realizing our high-tech greenhouse projects? You translate a signed contract into a technically feasible design and get a kick out of it every time! You work a lot with colleagues, partners and the customer and you flourish in your coordinating role to make the design process as streamlined as possible from start to finish.

KUBO Group now consists of approximately 240 employees who are active worldwide at our offices, in our own production facility in the Netherlands and at construction sites worldwide. The new project you are going to develop is one in China this time! After your contribution to the kick-off meeting, you determine the milestones of the project in consultation with your sector manager. You know better than anyone how to set priorities and monitor them to ensure that the project is not delayed. You are decisive and you like to tackle difficult issues.

Your task package includes much more than just drawing the design. For example, you draw up material specifications, organize all necessary technical coordination and you are responsible for purchasing various materials. Finally, you make all construction drawings and hand over the project to the construction team.

The role of team player is made for you, as a Project Engineer you have a lot of contact with the Project Leader, Purchaser and Construction Engineer(s) and you are an important link in the project. You also have to keep many balls in the air at the same time. It is therefore important that you work in a structured way and that you can keep a good overview of a project. Successfully completing a project gives you great satisfaction and because of the diversity of activities and cooperation you come to work every day with great pleasure.

KUBO believes in growing the right talent! We think it is important that you have the right skills set and we also like to train people to become successful in our sector. What skills are we looking for?

• You have a strong interest in or affinity with greenhouse construction. Experience in a similar position is a strong plus
• You like to take the lead and are a motivated, decisive team player
• You have an HBO working and thinking level and preferably a Bachelor's degree in a technical direction, such as mechanical engineering or civil engineering
• Because 75% of our customers are abroad, you have a good command of the English and Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• You have experience with or are familiar with drawing programs, at least AutoCAD. Experience with Revit and/or AdvanceSteel is a strong plus.
