Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As Electrical Engineer you are involved in all electrical engineering issues of new, high quality turnkey greenhouse projects, which are set up all over the world. You take care of the electrical layouts with accompanying details, so that all systems in the greenhouses are provided with electricity. You look at the manageability of the power, the excavation plan, and the type and quantity of cables.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Calculating, designing and drawing electrical installations and diagrams;
  • Supporting the sales and project management department, as well as the client, in the field of electrical installations, and provides them with advice;
  • Maintaining contact with subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Purchasing and outsourcing of electrical installations;
  • Actively following market and competitive developments, keeping abreast of the latest in electrical installations.

Who are we looking for?

As one of the experienced electrical engineers, you will work with your colleagues to design installations and schematics. You ensure a good cooperation with the customers by creating a win-win atmosphere. Since you participate in different projects, you know how to organize your work well.

In addition, you also have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in the field of Electrical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, for example in utility construction;
  • Familiar with AutoCAD or other 2- and 3D drawing programs;
  • Knowledge of the standards and guidelines and relevant laws and regulations of various countries in the field of electrical engineering, or you are interested in learning about them;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, orally and in writing;
  • Experience in and affinity with greenhouse horticulture are a plus, but being enthusiastic about the new challenge in our beautiful sector is a must!
