Job Description

You will be starting a cool new project in Canada, an 8-hectare Ultra-Clima® greenhouse in which cucumbers will be grown. You start with a meeting with the Project Engineer, in which the design is transferred to you. This is the starting point for your work. You are responsible for translating the design into all production drawings (steel and aluminum), the majority of which are manufactured in our own production hall, which is directly adjacent to the office. This also offers you the opportunity to regularly view the end product of your drawing, how cool is that!

You are a real team player, you have a short meetings with the Project Engineer every day to discuss progress and any issues. In addition, there is a weekly meeting with all Project and Construction Engineers in which the progress of projects is discussed, knowledge is shared and action points are drawn up.

You are therefore a real advisor who proactively thinks along and looks closely at all possibilities to produce the end product as efficiently as possible. You are very accurate and get a kick out of delivering your work flawlessly, because if you draw one thing wrong, this can have major consequences.

You also have a great sense of responsibility. You implement everything in the drawing programs, continuously monitor the material pre-notification and you ensure that all correct materials are purchased. The lead times are short, so you work on many different projects, in short: no day is the same and your work remains very challenging and varied.
