KUBO is the world specialist in the field of innovative and sustainable greenhouse projects. With (semi-closed) greenhouses and Smart Growing Concepts we create the ultimate indoor climate that uses the least possible energy and water for optimal growing. Our vision is to really want to make a difference for people and for our planet. We do this together with 150 employees who are active in the office, at our own production facility in the Netherlands and at construction sites worldwide.

Area Sales Manager

Job Description

In the role of Area Sales Manager you fulfill an important commercial task. As a representative of KUBO you travel around the world to build new relationships and maintain contacts with existing customers and partners. You make frequent acquisitions in your international sales area. You take inventory of the wishes of entrepreneurs and investors, actively think along with them and provide them with technically and commercially high quality and clear advice. Then, in collaboration with the calculation department, you make a suitable offer, often for large-scale turnkey projects. You represent KUBO at international trade fairs and you stay actively informed of the developments in greenhouse horticulture.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented, commercial sales manager, who is travel-minded and flexible. You are very presentable, can communicate fluently, set the right priorities and are result oriented. We expect you to have broad interests and be able to participate in discussions at customer level. You have a completed HBO education, for example in the direction of International Business. Knowledge and skills of sales and presentation are a must. In addition, you have technical affinity.

We require an independent work attitude, but also consider it important that you can work well in a team. It is important that you have a very good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in other modern languages is an advantage.
